Welcome to Solace Aesthetics. By booking an appointment, using our services, or purchasing through our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a professional, respectful and safe experience for all clients.
1. Appointments and Bookings
- Appointments can be made online, by phone, or in person.
- A deposit or prepayment may be required for certain services to confirm your booking.
- Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time to avoid impacting the next clients booking.
- If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and a fee may apply.
2. Cancellations and No-Shows
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment changes or cancellations. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend, may result in a cancellation fee or loss of deposit.
Repeated short-notice cancellations or missed appointments impact both our schedule and other clients’ ability to book. To ensure fairness:
-Two or more late cancellations or no-shows within a 6 month period will result in a 50% charge of the booked service/s being applied from the second occurrence onward.
-Three or more within a 6-month period will require full prepayment for future bookings. Prepaid appointments are non-refundable in the case of late cancellation or failure to attend.
We understand that unexpected situations can arise and will always consider genuine emergencies with understanding and discretion.
3. Consultations and Suitability
Certain treatments — including electrolysis and advanced skin services — require a consultation before treatment to ensure safety, suitability and the best possible results. "
Clients must provide accurate and complete health information prior to appointment
We understand for some clients, especially those who have had electrolysis elsewhere, this requirement can feel unnecessary or frustrating. However, due to individual differences in technique, equipment and aftercare products, it is non-negotiable that a consultation takes place prior to treatment.
If a consultation has not been completed, the appointment will be rescheduled until this step has occurred.
Solace Aesthetics reserves the right to modify, postpone or decline a treatment if it is deemed unsuitable or unsafe for the client.
4. Payment and Pricing
- All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.
-Payment is required at the time of treatment unless prior arrangements have been made.
-Prices are subject to change without notice, though confirmed bookings will be honored at the agreed rate.
5. Promotions
Promotional offers and discounts cannot be combined unless stated otherwise
6. Client Care and Responsibility
- Our treatments are provided with care and professionalism. Results may vary depending on individual factors such as skin type, health and home care.
-Aftercare advice will be provided following certain services — clients are encouraged to follow these recommendations for best results.
-Solace Aesthetics is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from failure to disclose medical information or to follow aftercare guidance.
7. Privacy and Confidentiality
Your personal information is collected and stored securely in accordance with our privacy policy.
All information shared during consultations or treatments remains strictly confidential.
8. Website Use
The content on our website is for general information only may change without notice. The Logo is property of Solace Aesthetics and may not be reproduced without permission.
9. Changes to These Terms
Solace Aesthetics may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on our website.
